I loved Barbara Stanwyck in The Big Valley. She was tough and loving all at the same time! I would love to see some of her movies. I don’t think I have seen any of them.

  • Erin M in MO

I really like Barbara Stanwyck in “The Strange Loves of Martha Ivers.” Talk about a strange movie! It keeps you guessing and wondering what was going on in that woman’s head. The supporting characters are great, too.

The only thing I can remember seeing her in is The Big Valley and Rawhide. I watched reruns with my Dad who loved westerns.

Annie Oakley is the only one I’ve ever seen, so it’s my favorite. I actually watched it just recently and really liked it. I would love to win a copy of Barbara Stanwyck Signature Collection! My grandmother would enjoy watching all of them with me. :) Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

  • Laura K

Please count me in! I loved Barbara in “The Big Valley”. Thanks for the awesome contest!

  • Andrew

Perhaps more than any other actress of her time, Barbara Stanwyck had real range, and serious acting chops. “Double Indemnity” is incredible, but I have to admit that my favorite Stanwyck film is “Christmas in Connecticut.” She’s perfect as the fashionable and independent career woman who can’t flip a pancake to save her life. It’s Stanwyck at her most adorable. The holidays aren’t complete without at least one viewing. In the words of Uncle Felix, this movie is totally “hunky dunky.”
