Currently Reading: Lots of YA

Reading a lot of Young Adult lately, as I’m trying to finish up my Middle Grade novel and the YA stuff gets me in the right groove without actually being in the same exact area.

I’m working my way through Living Dead GirlElizabeth Scott‘s harrowing novel about an abducted girl – right now and it’s frighteningly disturbing and entertaining. So close to completely disturbing, but there’s so much heart in there. So much sadness and reality rolled in that it’s hard to put down.

Then it’s on to Lauren Myracle‘s Bliss, which I’m super stoked to start reading.

Oh, and here’s a video of John Green reading from Paper Towns (which will be on the list right after Bliss).
