Full Trailer for Aronofsky’s THE WRESTLER

I’m about as big a fan of Darren Aronofsky that you’ll find anywhere. I adore PI. Requiem for a Dream is one of my all-time favorite films (even if it’s horribly depressing), and The Fountain is just a thing of beauty.

All that said, I still think The Wrestler might become Aronofsky’s best work yet. Heartbreaking and beautiful, the trailer makes me want to race to a theater NOW to see this thing. Well, we’ll only have to wait a little longer.

Here’s the full trailer, which finally hit the interwebs yesterday:

  • Brendon

This has been at the top of my “Movies to spend money I don’t have seeing” list for quite some time. Directed by Aronofsky AND written by Robert Siegel? It’s going to be awesome no matter how the acting turns out.
